About Me

My name is Rachel Smith and I’m 28 years old. My husband Richard and I have been together for 15 years and we have been married for 10 of those years. We have three healthy and beautiful children together. I was raised in church, and at the age of fifteen I re-dedicated my life to Christ. I have been involved in several different ministries in the past 10 years. I currently teach a couple’s class weekly at my home church, and I also host events such as Marriage Conferences, Women’s Expos, and more. Daily I strive to be more Christ like and to do the will of our Lord and savior.

Over the past several years I had felt nothing but pain, heartache, and loneliness in my marriage and just a year ago I completely hit rock bottom.

The only way I knew how to express my feelings and deal with my emotions was through prayer and journaling. God began giving me so much insight and wisdom on how to become a better wife, that I was completely transformed and our marriage was restored to better than ever before. God laid it on my heart to tell my story to the world so I started this blog Transformed Wife. My goal is to share my experiences, offer hope and inspiration to others, and to provide a site that husbands and wives can go to for questions and concerns in their marriage.

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Rom 12:2).

  1. You have done a great job with your blog in a lot of ways I can relate to what you went through to what I have been through and you have really helped me more than you will ever know.

  2. Rachael, you are really a transformed wife just as your site name is. In the writeups about yourself above, you said: “Daily I strive to be more Christ-like and to do the will of our Lord and savior”. This I strongly believe makes us a true Christian because the more we are like Christ, the more we excel in every area of our live’s endeavors especially our married life.

  3. Awesome ministry, Rachel! I’m touched by your testimony and have a similar story of pouring my heart out to God through prayer journaling. I’d love to connect with you as my passion is similar!
